    First, the organization of the competition
    1. The Environmentally Friendly Science and Technology Competition is a science and technology competition organized by Tsinghua University, co-organized by Tongji University and Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology for students from all over the country.
    2. The purpose of the competition: to promote the concept of resource conservation and environmental friendliness among college students, and to encourage university students to participate in the construction of a resource-saving and environment-friendly harmonious society with their original scientific concepts and inventions in the form of science and technology competition. . Guide college students, especially those related to environmental majors, to carry out technological innovation in the field of environmental protection.
    3. Category of competition: The entries in the competition are divided into two categories: scientific concept works and scientific and physical works. Scientific and technological ideas can be submitted in the form of papers or survey reports; scientific and physical works must be submitted in the form of physical works (with production plans).
     Second, the competition works
    1. The contest entries must effectively reflect the concept and connotation of resource conservation and environmental friendliness.
    2. All students (including doctoral, master's and undergraduate students) who are officially registered in universities across the country can declare their entries. Participants are required to provide valid student identification when registering for the competition.
    3. The competition works can be declared in individual or collective form.
    4. The works submitted for the competition are divided into two categories: scientific concept works and scientific and physical works. The scientific concept work can be a concept, design or practice research report of a kind of creativity, concept, product, which can effectively reflect the conservatism of resources and environment. It can be submitted in the form of a thesis or research report; the scientific and physical works can be manufactured and can be embodied. Inventive manufacturing or computer software works for resource conservation and environmental protection effects must be submitted in physical or software form. Participants can choose their own questions, or they can choose the reference questions provided by the contest to participate in the competition.
     Any student who has participated in other competitions or reviews may participate in the competition as long as it is a student who can meet the competition theme and does not involve intellectual property disputes.
    5. Entries should strictly abide by the state's provisions on intellectual property protection. The disputes arising from intellectual property rights shall be borne by the participants themselves;
     Third, the competition reward
    1. The competition will eventually award a special prize, and each of the first prize, two second prizes and three third prizes will be awarded according to the concept works and the physical works; among them: the special prize is 10,000 yuan; The prizes for the first, second and third prizes of the concept works are 5000, 2,500 and 1,000 yuan respectively; the prizes for the first, second and third prizes of the physical works are 8,000, 5,000 and 2,000 yuan respectively.
    2. All winners will have the opportunity to visit and internships provided by the Environmental College to domestic and international famous (environmental) companies.
     Fourth, competition time
    1. Registration time: before March 27, 2012;
    2. Submission of works: before May 20, 2012;
    3. Initial evaluation of the work: June 2012;
    4. Finals of the work: July 2012.

    1. Who is eligible to participate in the competition?

    4. Are there any subject requirements for the competition?
     Yes, the work should effectively reflect the concept and connotation of resource conservation and environmental friendliness, and should generally conform to at least one of the following principles:
     (1) Ideas or technologies that are conducive to the protection of the ecological environment and natural resources;
     (2) Ideas or technologies that are conducive to reducing environmental resource consumption and improving resource and material utilization efficiency;
     (3) Ideas or technologies that are conducive to reducing the discharge of toxic and hazardous waste such as waste water, waste residue and exhaust gas;
     (4) Ideas or technologies that are conducive to controlling or removing environmental pollutants and improving environmental quality such as water, atmosphere, and soil;
     (5) Ideas or technologies that are conducive to repairing and remediating contaminated natural ecosystems, reducing or eliminating toxic and hazardous substances;
     (6) Ideas or technologies that promote the recycling of environmental resources and promote the recycling of energy and materials;
     (7) Ideas or technologies that facilitate the establishment of a resource recycling sustainable development system;
     (8) Other concepts that are consistent with the concept of sustainable development are conducive to building an environment-friendly society, promoting social environmental protection, technological innovation, and creation.
     Participants can choose from the above topics, or they can choose their own questions.
    5. What are the formal requirements for the competition?
     The competition works will be divided into two categories in the awarding ceremony: two kinds of works of scientific concept and two kinds of scientific and physical works.
     The concept of scientific and technological works can be a conceptual design or practical research report of ideas, ideas, products that can effectively reflect the connotation of resource conservation and environmental friendliness, and can be submitted in the form of papers or research reports;

    7. Does the organizing committee fund the participants?
     If the applicants are unable to complete the work due to insufficient funds, they can use the reasonable implementation plan and budget of the participating works to communicate with the organizing committee at the time of registration, and obtain a certain amount of financial support. If the entries cannot be submitted according to the plan, the group will be submitted. The committee has the right to recover the funds it has funded. In the final award-winning works, the organizing committee of the competition may bear part of the expenses at the discretion, but the participants must provide true and effective proof of expenses.
