  • The research area of the Provincial Key Laboratory of Water Resources and Environment of Shaanxi Province is based on the interaction of water resources and environment, involving hydrology, water resources, environmental engineering, physical geography, climatology, water conservancy planning, farmland water conservancy, hydrogeology, and regional Economics, information technology applications, remote sensing, and many other areas. In the context of the worldwide water crisis, the laboratory has gradually formed the three levels of basic theoretical research, application basis and application in view of the shortage of water resources, frequent flood disasters and increasingly serious water pollution in the arid and semi-arid regions of Northwest China. Eight main research directions, namely:
